National Competition Fund

"It was a life changing experience!" Susan, age 17.
"I gained a totally new perspective on our Constitution." Robert, age 17.
"It gave me a great new outlook on our government and why it works." Tom, age 18.

This is what the students in We the People: the Citizen & the Constitution have said over the years. Not often can one effect such positive change in the lives of young adults. Your contribution to the National Competition Fund does just that!

Donations made it possible for the Indiana We the People teams to compete in the national finals in D.C. This year, Indiana had two teams in that national competition: Cathedral High School and Plainfield High School.

The two teams competed at the We the People national competition April 21-24, 2017. They both finished in the Top 4 out of 56 teams, with Cathedral High School placing third and Plainfield High School taking fourth place.

This year, the Indiana Bar Foundation board agreed to provide financial support for the High School Mock Trial state champion team going to the national finals in Connecticut on May 11-13, 2017. The students are passionate advocates learning about evidence and cross examination at an early age -- some as young as freshman in high school. Please consider how you can help them succeed with a donation to the National Competition Fund.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to help these students attend their national competitions. You will be proud of how these students represent you and our state.
