Indiana Bar Foundation Honors Pro Bono Service, 2014 Fellows Class
Celebrity Attorney Mark Roesler, CMG Worldwide CEO, to Speak
INDIANAPOLIS - Mark Roesler, founder and CEO of CMG Worldwide, will speak at the 2014 Fellows Dinner and Annual Meeting on Friday, October 10. Roesler’s law firm, headquartered on Indianapolis’ northeast side, represents the intellectual property rights of the estates of deceased celebrities such as James Dean, Bettie Page, Amelia Earhart and Jackie Robinson.
The event, hosted by the Indiana Bar Foundation, will induct 20 members of the 2014 class of Fellows, a group of attorneys nominated by their peers for their community service and legal acumen.
The Fellows Dinner and Annual meeting will be held in the The Legends of the 20th Century Museum that is housed at CMG Worldwide (www.cmgworldwide.com), 10500 Crosspoint Boulevard, Indianapolis. It will begin with a reception at 7:00 p.m. and dinner at 7:30 p.m. For the convenience of ISBA members, the event is being held to coincide with the 2014 ISBA Annual Meeting also on the north side of Indianapolis.
Pro Bono Excellence, Law-related Education Honors
That same night at the same locale, attorneys will also be honored for their pro bono service and for providing law-related education. The awards for pro bono publico, the Randall T. Shepard Award for Excellence in Pro Bono, and the law-related education award will be presented at a 6:00 p.m. ceremony. A 5:30 p.m.reception will precede the ceremony. There is no charge to attend this event and any interested member of the legal community is welcome to attend. Reservations are requested.
Reservations for both events are due by October 1. The Shepard reception is free. Reservations for the Fellows dinner are $135 per person before October 1. Guests may reserve rooms at the Sheraton Indianapolis at Keystone Crossing using the ISBA annual meeting reservation code to receive a special lodging rate of $119 per room. The hotel is four miles from the CMG museum, the site of the events.
