Foundation President and CEO Featured in National Education Summit
Indiana Bar Foundation (Foundation) President and CEO Charles Dunlap represented Indiana during the national live stream CivXNow Policy Summit. The two-day event featured panel disscussions, interviews, and keynote presentations from state and federal experts. Dunlap spoke as part of the Legislative Panel. During his remarks, Dunlap touted Indiana's success in creating and passing House Bill 1384. The legislation has led to Civics becoming a required class in Indiana middle schools once the curriculum is created. Dunlap, who is celebrating 20 years with the Foundation, talked about the process of gaining bipartisan support needed to create and pass the bill.
