Give your students a chance to show what they know! Students participating in Indiana Mock Trial are evaluated by attorneys and judges, giving them an opportunity to showcase their knowledge in a realistic way. The Mock Trial competition is open to all Indiana high schools.

Because of the change of moving the competition online, rules will need to be adapted to fit this platform. The standard rules are below and are to be followed as usual. Also below are the 2021 Online Mock Trial Rules & Guidelines. This document is formatted in a FAQ-style to help answer teams’ questions about how the competition will run, in both structure and procedure. This document is to be seen as an overlay to the standard rules and modifying them as needed due to the mock trial competition being online. This document will contain changes and updates that are different than a typical, in-person trial. In instances of conflict with the standard rules of competition, this document prevails and supersedes the standard rule. The rule it is superseding is noted. If there isn’t a conflict or an issue isn’t addressed here, the standard rules controls.
