Competition Information

Mock Trial

Give your students a chance to show what they know!  Students participating in Indiana Mock Trial are evaluated by attorneys and judges, giving them an opportunity to showcase their knowledge in a realistic way.  The Mock Trial competition is open to all Indiana high schools.

Congratulations to Carmel High School, Team Firecracker Club, on winning the 2021 High School Mock Trial Championship! All rankings, best attorneys, and best witnesses are listed here.

Important Dates (subject to change)
October 29, 2021:  Case Release Date 
December 3, 2021:  1st Case Q&A Submission Deadline
December 17, 2021:  School and Team Registration and Payment Deadline
December 17, 2021:  1st Case Q&A Posted
January 14, 2022:  2nd Case Q&A Submission and Drop Deadlines
January 21, 2022:  2nd Case Q&A Posted
February 2022 (dates TBD):  Regional Competitions (Evansville, Hammond, Indianapolis, South Bend)
March 12-13, 2022:  State Competition
May 5-8, 2022:  National Championship (Kalamazoo, MI)

Registration Cost
$100/team that are new to the mock trial program or have not participated in the previous three years

Registration deadline is December 17, 2021. A $30 late fee will be added after the deadline. Drop deadline for refunds is January 14, 2022.
