“We the People has been an amazing experience. Although it is difficult, it is teaching students important things about our government and preparing us for times we have to speak in public. This foundation has taught us how to work as a team. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to experience We the People.” – Student, Heritage Jr./Sr. High School, Monroeville
Please consider a gift that is meaningful to you by December 31 to help educate more students in civic education. There are various levels of giving and associated benefits to recognize donors who help us achieve this goal. Our highest level of donor recognition is the Keystone Society which recognizes donors who contribute $1,000 or more annually. Even if you are not able to give at the level of the Keystone Society, a gift at any amount is greatly appreciated.

2019 Indiana Civic Health Index
The fourth, and latest, edition of the Indiana Civic Health Index seeks to turn the data studied over the past eight years into action in order to build on previous successes and address future challenges. Positively, in many community-related activities, such as volunteering, giving and community membership, Hoosiers participate in rates higher than the national average. However, voter registration and turnout, past and present, is consistently ranked well below the national average. Read the full report here.
